Hello

i'm amber

I’m a photographer based in Eindhoven in the Netherlands, documenting families, couples, mothers-to-be and individuals.

My work is centred around the small moments that make up everyday life. The ones that often pass quietly while they’re happening, but become the memories we return to later.

What shaped my work

I grew up in South Africa and moved to the Netherlands a few years ago. Living in a new country slowed my pace in many ways and made me notice more.

Photography gradually became a way of paying attention.

The more I observed families and everyday life, the more I realised that the photographs people treasure most are often the simplest ones.

The cup of coffee dad makes for mom while she settles the baby to sleep.
The breakfast you and your partner make together every Saturday morning.
The moment your husband rubs your feet on the couch after a long day of carrying your baby.

These moments are rarely planned, but they often carry the most meaning.

When I'm not behind the lens

I enjoy long walks (or runs), listening to music or a podcast, making food, enjoying sunshine, and spending time with my husband, family and friends.

I tend to move through the world as an observer more than a director. Photography allows me to do exactly that. To notice, to document, and to preserve small pieces of life as they are.

My Process

01.

Inquire

Send me an inquiry through my website, email or social media. I'll share more information about the experience and available dates. Once you choose your collection and pay the booking fee, your session is reserved. The remaining balance is due before your photo session.

02.

Planning your session

We'll have a relaxed consultation where we talk about your vision, clothing, location and any details that will help you feel prepared.

03.

The session

Sessions are calm and unhurried. I quietly observe what unfolds, offering gentle guidance when needed, while allowing space for genuine moments to happen.

04.

Your photographs

Within two weeks, you'll receive your edited digital gallery (and film, if included). If you've chosen an album, we'll meet to review the design together before it is handcrafted and delivered to your home.

If this feels like the right place for your family, I would love to connect.
